Carba was founded by Dr. Andrew Jones and Professor Paul Dauenhauer longtime friends, scientists and serial entrepreneurs. If you haven't met Andrew or Paul, they are both brilliant scientists with the passion, scientific skills and innovative thinking to create a better solution in a higher-grade, permanent carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
Andrew is an Astronaut Scholar and PhD grad from Cal Berkeley, and Paul is a MacArthur Fellow and PhD grad from the University of Minnesota. They have joined together to reduce carbon in the atmosphere. Carba's corporate headquarters is located in Andrew and Paul's home state of Minnesota. Go Gophers!
THE GOAL Greenhouse gas emission reduction is the overall goal, but in many cases, reduction alone won't be enough so removal via direct air capture technology is mission critical.
